Coconut seedlings were planted and nursed at the “Suraliya Sevana” Special Needs Women’s Care Center on March 26^th with the enthusiastic participation of the officers in charge of the center.

At this occasion, good hands explained that their prime objective is not distributing coconut plants, but to encourage all citizens to plant at least one coconut seedling. The GHI team explained and demonstrated the method of nursing a coconut and obtaining a coconut plant after a few months instead of searching for coconut seedlings to the participants who accepted the suggested method with keen interest.
